This particular photograph was taken during the early fall season which shows the resplendent beauty of the foliage that surrounds the most enchanting college campus on the face of the earth, the University of Notre Dame. This photograph of Our Lady of the University was captured from Notre Dame Avenue looking toward the Main Building’s “Golden Dome” which is shown in the background. If you look closely between the Notre Dame statue and the “Golden Dome” you will see a statue of Father Sorin, who at age 26 founded the University of Notre Dame.
